Getting Brave and Visiting the Good Vibrations Store
With a little encouragement from my friend Isabella, I got brave and went to my local Good Vibrations store. (See The Character of Me: Do I Really Want a Man?) My, my! There are all kinds of things I’d be happy not to know existed!
Here with the good things you’ll find at the store:
- Lots of happy, smiling people
- Friendly sales people ready to help
- Anatomical drawings with explanations
- Lots of choice and a big price range in the basic girl’s toy.
I examined the pink Rabbit that so enthralled Charlotte on Sex and the City—remember? season 1 episode 9 “The Turtle and the Hare” in which Carrie and company had to go to her apartment for an intervention.
I turned it on. The bunny rotates! All I could think is that Charlotte is hot.
My choice was, shall I say, a bit modest by comparison and only $16. When I checked out, the clerk put it in a brown paper bag and gave me a postcard inviting me to sex workshops! Sex workshops? My, my!
