The Best Flip Flops with Toe Sox

February 11th, 2020 · No Comments

havaianas with injinjisMy havaiana flip flops are the best because they’re not slippery when wet–so important for stepping around fast, not to mention safety. This makes havaianas worth the extra money for a no-frills flip flop. I like the thinner, slim, style because they walk faster. I like the havaianas better than fancy flops that have arch-supporting molded soles. I wear my havaianas inside the house and out. When it’s cold I use injinji toe sox. injinji has the best fit–the toes don’t pop off. Yea! My size havaianas are marked 37/38, USA W 7/8, and EUR 39/40 (three size markings) and I often take a size 8 or 39 in shoes or clogs. My injinji sox are unisex size M (women’s 9 to 11.5) or women’s size M (9 – 12)–perfect!

The sox have good traction on the flip flops until the flip flops start to wear out and get a little smooth–they’re still not slippery when wet!–so then I prefer the yoga toes sox that injinji used to make. The yoga toe sox had little rubbery nubs to keep them from sliding on the floor. I didn’t think they worked well for yoga, but they’re perfect for wearing with flip flops!
